I'm purging and it feels really good. As I prepare for my big move to Cincinnati, I have been getting rid of a lot of stuff. Some stuff has been relocated to the dumpster. Other items have made their way to the Habitat Home Store. Tomorrow, my Dad and my nephew Michael are coming over to help me get rid of my washer and dryer.
I'm really trying to free myself of stuff. I want to be mobile and ready to go where God leads me. I also want to be able to fit all the rest of my stuff in the back of my car and in my Mom and Dad's truck. I am avoiding renting a trailer if at all possible and I really don't want to have to make another trip to Oak Ridge to haul more stuff to Ohio. I am pretty close to having most of my stuff ready to go. I am now trying to go through boxes of stuff and throw more stuff out.
I am amazed at how much stuff I accumulate. I don't think I have very much stuff and yet it seems to multiply.
I really hope to have almost all of my packing done by the end of this three day weekend so I can schedule my apartment walk-through before I go. Then I can just get in the car and head to Cincinnati for Thanksgiving. That's the plan anyway. I guess we'll see how it goes.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for being a part of my journey!
